Learning more about the schedule

Although GU has yet to officially release the basketball schedule for next year, we have learned about a couple early season games that will be played at the MAC.

On November 15th, the GU men will play an exhibition game against Montana State Billings. The Jackets are led by former Idaho coach, George Pfeifer. The Zags will then host the University of Idaho on November 18th. This will be the regular season opener for the Zags, and will likely be one of two games that the Zags play before the Old Spice Classic.

TKR is expecting the official schedule to be released sometime in September, and when it is released, we will be doing a huge breakdown series on every opponent. However, it is exciting to see these dates being released, and knowing that we are only 3 months away from watching GU basketball.

mchlj - sounds like a stalker

can we get a Austin Daye injury update?

Austin Daye, who was originally diagnosed with a torn ACL received second opinions on that injury and doctors at UCLA concluded that he only had a deep bone bruise and a partial tear which would not require any surgery.

Instead of initial rumors which people believed that he may miss a number of games, Daye will be ready to go when the season kicks off.

mchlj, We will be contacting you soon. A calendar is something the TKR has been lacking and we have been talking about adding one. Thanks for the help and continued reads.

I think you should blog about his progress in coming back. How has he been doing since beginning to practice again? Is he at 100%? What is his status now?
