Zags Crack Coaches' Top 10

The ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll has been released today and the Zags find themselves as the tenth best team in the nation. After two blowout victories over Idaho and Montana State-Billings, Gonzaga has capitalized on some of the missteps of fellow top-25 teams. Mark Few's squad now finds itself as the highest-ranked team on the west coast, surpassing Ben Howland's UCLA Bruins who are ranked just behind Gonzaga at 11th.

St. Mary's is on the outside looking in, ranked 27th and receiving 43 votes. They are 57 points behind 25th ranked Davidson.

Only two teams in the upcoming Old Spice Classic, Wichita State and Maryland, are not receiving votes in the Coaches' Poll. Oklahoma State received two votes and Siena received 10. The tournament will feature #6 Michigan State, #10 Gonzaga, #12 Tennessee, and #16 Georgetown.

There is no doubt that the field at the Old Spice is the deepest preseason tournament in the nation and should be outstanding to watch.
